Be the change

Our work at Level Access helps open the digital world to everyone. But in order to help make that change, we must first be the change.

Our success requires us to be bold—in the goals that we set and how we act on them. But we are accountable. We own our bold ideas—and their outcomes.

Bring the energy

We are responsible for the type of energy we bring to every situation. And we approach our world-changing work with an achievement focused, no-limits mindset.

Build together

We are united by a bold, energizing mission, and success is not a one-person job. Our commitment to working and building together makes our work possible.

A few of our employee benefits
Staying well

Well-being perks include medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus fitness reimbursement.

Recharging

We honor flexible time off because we don’t just believe in work-life balance, we practice it.

We collaborate seamlessly and support each other from every corner of the world. And we like it that way.

Retirement

We have an established a 401(k) plan with an employer match.

Learning

We invest in personal development because being the best in the business is important to us.

Who we need

We look for candidates who are positive, passionate, flexible, professional, and respectful, and who will contribute to our culture of inclusivity with their unique perspectives. If you’re one of them, here are the positions we’re looking to fill:

Looking for a technology job where you can do good and do well? Level Access, Inc. helps companies design and enhance their digital systems - including websites, web applications, software, hardware, and services - so they are usable by people with disabilities. Our work allows organizations to provide equal access through software, training, and consulting solutions!

Your Responsibilities
  • Test plan Definition – work with our global teams to determine the boundaries of the testing environment for our clients. The Accessibility Consultant will identify a representative test plan of the user interface components found in the client’s system.
  • Technical Consultation – You will consult with customers on the proper methods for implementing digital accessibility in systems. This will span a variety of web, mobile, hardware and document systems. This will drive follow-up discussions to create a road map to improve the accessibility and usability of the client’s IT system
  • Consistency and Quality Assurance – You will work to support, review and provide a feedback loop, maintaining consistency and quality together with our globally diversified group of accessibility professionals.
Your Qualifications
  • Communicative - You should be able to clearly and effectively communicate with clients in both written and verbal fashion. Written communication should show a high attention to detail. Verbal communication should be formal and indicate the ability to communicate complex topics concisely. Our consulting positions are on the front-line with our customers and it is imperative that you build confidence when speaking with customers. Excels with meeting facilitation skills and the ability to be an effective team player.
  • Testing Focus - A portion of what you will do involves testing interfaces and validating that they conform to technical requirements. A desire to perform this validation and experience testing web-based interfaces for compliance with design specifications is critical.
  • Organized - We seek to hire and advance people that have this focus and can execute activities on their own, over a long period of time without a large amount of management oversight. A candidate that will succeed in this environment should have a desire to grow in the system over several years and seek to build towards big goals.
  • Excellence Focused - At Level Access, we have been successful because we constantly seek to be the best in our market across all the products and services we provide. Think the Ritz Carlton, not the Holiday Inn. In practice, that means we both charge more and invest more, with the end goal of providing far more value per dollar spent than our competitors. It also means that we focus on a very high level of quality and hold ourselves accountable for delivering against that level of quality.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability – The dynamic and ever-changing nature of the technology and accessibility spaces coupled with nature of an ever-growing organization require candidates that are flexible, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast pace and high-pressure environment.
  • Multi-tasking – ability to lead multiple tasks and organize your work effectively, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Personal Organization – You should have strong experience in both waterfall and agile PM tools such as JIRA.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • BS degree in technology or equivalent work
  • Strong working knowledge of Accessibility framework, i.e., Section 508, EN 349 501, WCAG 2.X
  • Understanding general technical operations would be a plus
  • Real world experience working with Product and Technology industries is a huge plus
Specializations with Digital Properties are a PLUS:
  • Mobile Testing – Android and iOS
  • Design, Component Libraries and Design Systems
  • Web Frameworks – Angular, React, React Native, Flutter, SPA
  • Unity, Gaming Engines, Embedded Software, VR, or Hardware i.e., Kiosks, POS
