Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in access control or security administration at government facilities.
• Minimum of 2 years experience supporting DoD or federal government agencies.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Knowledge of SIPRNet/NIPRNet is preferred.
• Experience in customer service and records/database management in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide access control services through centralized operations and monitoring.
• Monitor facility entrances/exits using access control and video surveillance systems.
• Verify access authorizations and ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, VIPs, and government personnel.
• Support visitor management and facility entry processes.
• Maintain accurate records, databases, and security-related documentation.
• Utilize Microsoft Office to track and manage access control activities.
• Safeguard government-furnished equipment, information, and property.
• Maintain logs and operational records for security operations.
• Assist with emergency preparedness and evacuation drills as required.
• Communicate effectively with security personnel and stakeholders on access issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
