What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate patient admissions and transfers through inbound and outbound calls
- Perform initial admission screening and acceptance using clinical criteria
- Collaborate with multiple hospital departments and external facilities to ensure efficient patient flow
- Document patient information accurately to assist accepting healthcare providers
- Maintain transfer data collection and provide feedback on patient transitions and outcomes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduate from an accredited school/college with current licensure as LPN, Paramedic, or EMT in state of residence
- Minimum of three years of related clinical experience in an acute care setting (ED or Critical Care preferred)
- Strong oral, written, and electronic communication skills
- Ability to multitask, including attentive listening and typing at 38-40 wpm
- Must meet internet speed requirements: Upload 50 Mbps or more; Download 100 Mbps or more

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in emergency or critical care settings
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Demonstrated ability to educate healthcare staff on admission and transfer processes
- Previous experience working in a remote healthcare role
- Knowledge of Medical Necessity criteria
