Access Specialist I- Sugarcreek Township- Full Time

Patient Access Representatives provide customer-service coverage and are responsible for ensuring successful financial outcomes of all patient services. Under the supervision of the Patient Access Manager, duties include appointment scheduling, registration, transcribing orders, insurance verification, telephone coverage, data entry, filing protected health information (PHI), patient referrals, and payment collection. The role emphasizes maintaining patient relations, customer satisfaction, and the financial health of Dayton Children’s Hospital.

Facility: Outpatient Testing Center - Sugarcreek

Department: Patient Access - Offsite Registration

Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/week

Shift Details:

• Shifts between 7:00am-6:00pm
• Monday-Friday
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No holidays

Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED
