The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City seeks an Access Specialist to build and maintain physician schedule templates in the EHR. You will work with template builders and staff to ensure adherence to established standards and handle schedule-change requests across practices.
You will compile data for the Office of Access Management, review dashboards, and help identify capacity and access issues, applying best practices under leadership guidance.
Position Title Access Specialist Indian Creek Main Position Summary / Career Interest:
High School Graduate with 7 or more years of of healthcare clinic operations with familiarity with EHR scheduling workflows and/or revenue cycle experience that included knowledge of operational scheduling strategies, clinic throughout and performance improvement OR Bachelors Degree from an accredited College or University with 3 or more years of healthcare clinic operations with familiarity with EHR scheduling workflows and/or revenue cycle experience that included knowledge of operational scheduling strategies, clinic throughout and performance improvement.
Strong computer skills. EPIC Cadence preferred. EpicCare Ambulatory preferred. Prelude or other certifications relating to the Ambulatory environment is preferred.
