Position Summary:
The Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) will be a subject matter expert on access & reimbursement for FILSPARI (Sparsentan), working remotely within their assigned geography to provide education and case-specific support to internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers (HCPs) and sales force within their region. The ARM must have extensive expertise in navigating insurance and access barriers and will be a highly collaborative individual who proactively manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, such as fielding daily questions from the sales team, working with Hub, specialty pharmacy partners, and office contacts to facilitate patient reimbursement, and accurately updating daily reports.

Responsibilities

Proactive Office Support Throughout FILSPARI Onboarding Process:

  • Serve as the key contact responsible for patient access and reimbursement support in the assigned geography.
  • Develop expertise in the FILSPARI onboarding process, from Patient Start Form (PSF) submission through REMS enrollment to reimbursement.
  • Guide offices through the onboarding process, including PSF completion, enrollment in REMS, prior authorization, appeals, and medical policy steps.
  • Monitor cases as they progress through onboarding.

Escalated Support for Specific Cases

  • Identify and resolve complex patient access issues by collaborating with Hub, HCP offices, and the field team.
  • Assist with missing information on PSFs or REMS forms, coordinating with relevant partners.
  • Help resolve access issues related to prior authorization, appeals, denials, and medical necessity letters.
  • Partner with reimbursement stakeholders to communicate challenges and solutions.

Sales Force Communication / Partnership

  • Provide updates on case statuses, leveraging reimbursement stakeholder networks.
  • Educate sales force on reimbursement complexities, including specific payor requirements.
  • Log interactions and updates in the designated platform, leading weekly case status meetings.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth case progression.

Proactive Trend Identification and Key Account Education

  • Act as the SME for regional access landscape and anticipate healthcare changes.
  • Identify barriers to reimbursement and develop quarterly strategies.
  • Collaborate on HCP education initiatives and monitor payer trends to inform internal and external education.

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical/health industry with Hubs, payers, or HCPs.
  • 3+ years in reimbursement/access/case management.
  • Preferred: experience in specialty pharma, nephrology, rare diseases, REMS.

Additional Skills/Experience:

  • Prior account management or complex account experience.
  • Knowledge of specialty pharmacy products and networks.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with HCPs, office staff, and internal teams.

  • Ability to educate virtually and resolve issues effectively.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills, organized, and capable of multitasking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Field-based role; residence in or near the territory required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35%.

Target Base Pay Range:

$158,000.00 - $205,000.00
