Summary
Access and Reimbursement Manager (ARM) is a field-based role that provides in-person (or virtual as needed) education to defined accounts within their assigned geographies on access and reimbursement topics, supporting the product strategy.

ARM serves as the key contact for access and reimbursement support, specializing in payer policy, billing, claims processing, and integrating support programs into account workflows. The role requires problem-solving, analysis, and proactive communication about healthcare landscape changes.

The ARM partners with other Novartis field teams, including Customer Engagement and Market Access, and coordinates cross-functionally within NPC, including Patient Support Center, Marketing, Public Affairs, and third-party affiliates.

This remote and field-based role covers Orlando, FL, Jacksonville, FL, Gainesville, FL, and Ocala, FL. Candidates must reside within the territory or within 60 miles of its border.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support patient access by educating providers and staff on product-specific programs, integrating these into office workflows.
  • Collaborate with practice staff on reimbursement and access issues, analyzing problems and offering solutions.
  • Support local coverage decisions, communicate policy changes, and facilitate patient support programs like Co-pay assistance.
  • Maintain expertise in regional access landscapes and act as a reimbursement expert for the therapeutic area.
  • Coordinate with Patient Support Center on case management, reimbursement issues, and education.
  • Share insights with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with privacy laws, and report adverse events as per company procedures.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in reimbursement, managed care, or pharmaceutical industry support roles.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy, coding, billing, and complex account management.
  • Knowledge of CMS policies, Medicare Parts B and D, and managed care sectors is a plus.
  • Ability to travel at least 50%, reside within the territory or nearby.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience in dermatology, managing multiple products, and strong presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance terminology, patient privacy laws, and business acumen.

The pay range is $138,600 to $257,400 annually, with potential bonuses and benefits. The role requires successful completion of initial training and a valid driver’s license, as driving is an essential function.
