Access & Reimbursement Manager, Cardiovascular – Upstate New York - REMOTE

Summary

Location: The Access & Reimbursement Manager, NPS (Novartis Patient Support) Cardiovascular is a field-based role covering geographies including Albany, Syracuse, Binghamton, Buffalo, and Rochester, NY. Candidates must reside within the territory or within 60 miles of its border.

The ARM provides education on access and reimbursement topics, supports account workflows, and partners with cross-functional teams to ensure patient access and support programs are effectively implemented.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support patient access by educating providers and staff on product-specific programs.
  • Address questions related to NPC policies, billing, inventory, and returns.
  • Collaborate with office staff to support reimbursement and access issues.
  • Analyze problems, identify trends, and communicate policy changes.
  • Support local coverage decisions and patient support programs.
  • Maintain expertise in regional access landscape and partner with Patient Support Center.

Buy And Bill Specific:

  • Develop and communicate plans of action for access issues.
  • Educate stakeholders on logistics and reimbursement pathways.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years in reimbursement, managed care, or pharmaceutical sales.
  • Experience with specialty pharmacy, coding, billing, and complex accounts.
  • Knowledge of CMS policies, Medicare Parts B and D, and managed care sectors is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, reside within the territory, and drive a valid license.

Compensation: $138,600 - $257,400 annually, plus benefits, sign-on bonus, stock units, and discretionary awards.
