Sharp HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registration professional to coordinate all enrollment functions, verify insurance, and secure patient financial responsibility while upholding EMTALA and privacy standards.

The role emphasizes effective communication, collaborative teamwork, and delivering premier customer service in a hospital setting, with complex billing and payer interactions.

Qualifications

• 2 Years experience in a business service setting.
• Must have experience communicating effectively both verbally and in writing professionally.
• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience discussing personal and financial matters with patients and/or their representatives is preferred.
• HFMA certifications preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all registration functions to ensure the processing of a clean claim and maximum reimbursement.
• Identify accurate patient records using Patient Secure and adhere to EMTALA regulations.
• Communicate to patients and leadership about unusually high out-of-pocket costs or out-of-network coverage.
• Input insurance details into Centricity and verify coverage; collect patient financial responsibility.
• Provide exceptional customer service using AIDET and maintain patient privacy.
