Job summary

Oakland Community Health Network in Pontiac, MI seeks an Access Information and Referral Specialist to provide information and referrals for mental health, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years related college/university coursework preferred.
• Knowledge of mental health, substance use disorder and developmental disability issues and OCHN system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors at the Resource and Crisis Center in a professional, trauma-informed manner.
• Manage referral flow (walk-ins, email referrals, voicemails, faxes) and assign to clinicians.
• Serve as a primary contact for community partners and coordinate communications regarding referrals and admissions.
• Provide information and advocacy about the Access process and review residency, insurance, and contact details.
