A leading university is seeking a dedicated Access Workflow Specialist to develop and implement best practices for operational workflows. The role involves training staff, monitoring adherence to SOPs, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance clinic operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma and relevant experience, with opportunities for certification within the role.
In collaboration with the Manager, Ambulatory Access Quality & Standards, the central PFA Implementation Team, and Access Pod Managers, develops best practice-based Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operational Access workflows. Engages with stakeholders including HIT, Revenue Cycle Training, and clinic operations during SOP development to ensure operational alignment. Trains Access team members on new and revised workflows through ongoing support and monitoring. Evaluates adherence to SOPs and operational quality by analyzing qualitative and quantitative data. Assists in implementing system enhancements and performs follow-up and reporting on the Registration and Scheduling systems.
Compensation Range: $45,656.00 - $70,761.60 annually.
Position requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent bending/stooping, reaching, and repetitive motion (keyboard use). Proficient in communication, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and legible writing ability. Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100 lbs. May be exposed to noise, radiation, radioactive materials, blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases.
