Job summary

AJ Manufacturing - Master is seeking a Forklift Operator for day shifts, Monday through Thursday 6am-4:30pm with overtime on Friday as needed. You will follow all safety rules, wear PPE, operate forklift, pallet jack and dolly, and complete daily checklists.

Responsibilities include moving material to storage, distributing commonly shared items, pulling glass per work orders, stocking extrusion racks, keeping the area clean, and assisting with assembly/production tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Must pass forklift certification.
• Operates forklift, pallet jack and dolly safely.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.

• Move material per inventory transfer as needed.

Pay: $20 per hourMonday- Thursday 6am-4:30pm with overtime on Friday as neededJob Duties:· Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE· Operate forklift, pallet jack, dolly· Complete the Forklift Operator Daily Checklist· Visually inspect material for any handling damage· General knowledge of material specifics for identification and differentiation· Move material to storage locations· Delivery and distribution of commonly shared items· Move material per inventory transfer as needed· Keep work area clean· Fill vertical and horizontal extrusion racks with supplies· Move and stack large buggies of extrusion· Pull glass per work order and stage for production· Perform assembly/production duties as neededPhysical Demands:· While performing the job, the employee may be required to stand for long periods of time, use hands to lift, carry and stack material· The employee is frequently required to reach with hands, arms and to bend at waist· Frequently, employees must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. up to 50 feet· Occasionally operator must be able to climb up and down forklifts· Must be able to pass forklift certification
