Position Details

Department: ICE | CORE PA IM/PC Access MSS

Summary of Job Duties: This position provides comprehensive support for patient care activities, including greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling, verifying insurance, and assisting with hospital admissions and surgeries. Must perform all Access Coordinator I duties and support patient care activities as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED plus two years of customer service or healthcare experience
  • Ability to follow oral instructions, read, and write
  • Computer and basic office skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Registration experience
Additional Information
  • Conducts insurance verification and benefits explanation
