Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Obtain and Maintain Department of Labor Occupational License related to Access Control, Video Surveillance and Fire/Life Safety Systems.
• Experience with access control systems and security technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Strong understanding of networking.
• Certifications in video/security systems, updated annually.
• Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to security, including applicable license requirements.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in training and supporting end-users.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical and electronic principles.
• Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to job requirements.
• Capability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Valid driver’s license for on-site visits and installations.
• Ability to pass a background check and security clearance.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift and install heavy equipment.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
