Job summary

CBX Solutions, LLC is seeking an Access Control Technician to join our Security Integration Division in Las Vegas. You will install, configure, and service access control and video surveillance systems across commercial and multifamily sites, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

You will read plans, program control panels, and troubleshoot issues on-site, collaborating with doors and hardware teams.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience installing and servicing access control and surveillance systems in commercial environments.
• Familiarity with hardware like card readers, mags/strikes, door contacts, request-to-exit devices, and IP cameras.
• Experience in programming/configuring access control software (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, AMAG, Openpath).
• Understanding of network architecture and basic IP configuration.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and troubleshoot access control systems and CCTV components.
• Pre-assemble and test system components prior to field installation.
• Pull and terminate low-voltage wiring and structured cabling.
• Coordinate with door and hardware technicians for integrated systems.
• Document work performed including time tracking and configurations.
