Qualifications

• Basic computer and networking knowledge is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Install, align, wire, and test door strikes, maglocks, keypads, readers, controllers, and door-release devices.
• Run, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling.
• Program access permissions, schedules, credentials, and network-connected equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware, wiring, power, and communication issues.
• Perform maintenance, document your work, train customers, and maintain safe emergency exit operation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of experience in access control, security systems, or related low-voltage work.
• Hands-on ability to install electric door strikes, magnetic locks, and electrified door hardware, including proper door and frame alignment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and use hand tools, power tools, cable testers, and a multimeter.
