Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard clients across Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. Pay rate: $20.50 / hour with weekly pay. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

The role involves shifts across multiple days and sites, plus a comprehensive benefits package and equal opportunity employment. Responsibilities include performing safety procedures, responding calmly to incidents, and conducting patrols of the site.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
