Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard clients across diverse industries, including commercial real estate, healthcare, education and government.

The role offers training, uniforms, and the potential to transition to long-term roles based on performance. Pay is $20.00 per hour, paid weekly, and a valid driver’s license is required to operate in driving assignments.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment; driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
