Job summary

Claxton-Logistics-Service is seeking an Access Control Specialist to support the MCWL contract in Stafford, VA. You will manage access to secure areas, ensure proper credentialing, and maintain visitor controls in sensitive environments.

Responsibilities include administering access to facilities, issuing and revoking badges, monitoring logs, and assisting investigations. RAMS at the customer site and SOP development are part of the role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED and 1-3 years of relevant experience in the security field.
• Familiarity with government security regulations, including NISPOM and DoD policies.
• Experience with access control systems such as CCURE.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• 1 year+ experience with DISS and/or Scattered Castles.

Responsibilities

• Manage access to secure areas, support security compliance and protection of assets.
• Administer physical access control to facilities, credentialing, visitor management, and adherence to access policies.
• Coordinate badge issuance and revocation, access provisioning, and incident reporting for access violations.
• Review access logs, report anomalies, and assist investigations of security incidents.
• Perform database queries using DISS and Scattered Castles; print reports and update case files.
• Perform RAMS (Random Anti-Terrorism Measures) at customer site.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs related to access control tasks and processes.
• Support a flexible schedule: 0600-1400, 0800-1600, 1000-1800.
