Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Authentication in Jacksonville, FL to protect clients at aerospace and defense locations. You will manage access points, verify credentials, monitor areas, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism, helping maintain a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply locally.
• Driver's license required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and maintain access logs.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and communicate observations to site contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Assist with screening, visitor processing, and control of restricted areas while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
