Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Management in Marietta, OH. You will manage site access, monitor entry points, and conduct routine patrols at a chemical/petrochemical location, while maintaining a visible, customer-focused presence.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and a commitment to safety and service. You will support incident response, document access logs, and follow escalation procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required per Allied Universal policy.
• Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Screen vehicles, materials, and personnel in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
