Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screening required by employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or delivery appointments, maintain visitor records, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
• Help deter unauthorized access by observing access control systems, challenging unverified individuals, and reporting irregular activity.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter; environments may vary by location.
