Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Entry Authorization in Port Isabel, TX to protect client facilities across chemical/petrochemical sites. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, and maintain access-control records while delivering professional service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

The role requires strong attention to safety, compliance with site procedures, and effective communication with team members and site contacts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background investigation will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a chemical/petrochemical location by carrying out site-specific security procedures and access-control policies.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials and documentation per site requirements.
• Maintain accurate access-control records; issue and recover badges or credentials and report discrepancies as directed.
• Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with site contacts and emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned points and perimeter locations to detect unusual activity or security concerns.
