Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration in Newville, PA. You will manage access, verify credentials, and support a secure environment for employees and visitors at a logistics site.

The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and adherence to site procedures. Shifts are part of a full-time schedule at a logistics location, with emphasis on safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsabilités

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, issue visitor or contractor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Control access to warehouse, loading dock, and restricted operational areas in accordance with site requirements and authorized personnel lists.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
