Job summary

Allied Universal recruits a Security Officer for a full-time Access Control role in Spartanburg, SC. The officer will manage site entry, verify authorized personnel, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents at a financial institution location.

Responsibilities include providing professional customer service, monitoring access points, and reporting security concerns. CPR/First Aid is preferred and a background check is required.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by site-specific access control.
• Monitor entry/exit points, verify IDs, issue visitor credentials, and maintain access records.
• Respond to incidents and notify appropriate personnel or responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Operate access control and security systems, including cameras and alarms.
