Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Credentialing in Theodore, AL. You will verify credentials, manage visitor and badge access, monitor entry points, and conduct routine patrols at a logistics location.

Position Type: Full Time. Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour. Schedule: Tue–Sat 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Join a team focused on safety, service, and integrity across communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points; verify identification, credentials, and authorized access for personnel and vehicles.
• Maintain visitor, contractor, and vehicle access records and communicate access concerns to site contacts and leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
