Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Access Control with Active Clearance in Huntsville, AL. The role involves patrolling, monitoring access points, and providing customer service at an aerospace/defense site. You must hold an active DoD Secret Clearance and meet age/diploma requirements.

Position: Full Time with a pay rate of $18.93/hr. CPR and Guard Card are preferred. Background checks and drug screening apply where permitted by law.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard Card/License preferred.
• Comfortable with computer/tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal conducts drug screening as allowed by law.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and enforce site policies at aerospace/defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly per site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, access points, and perimeters.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, report unauthorized access.
• Document observations and communicate findings to site personnel.
