Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Access Control Operations in Decatur, AL. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access, and support a secure, welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries.

This full-time role offers a daytime schedule from Mon to Fri with a pay rate of $17.68/hr. Qualifications include being 18+, HS diploma, background check, drug screen; licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries while enforcing site security procedures.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, issue visitor badges, and logs.
• Respond to alarms and incidents, escalating as needed, in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document activities, events, and observations per procedures.
