Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and emergency response activities at a technology data center location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and retrieve access badges, and maintain accurate access-control logs.
• Respond to access-control alarms, unauthorized-entry concerns, and critical situations calmly, escalating incidents through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the facility perimeter, and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and visitor activity accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
