Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. in New Carlisle, IN is seeking an Access Control Security Officer to monitor and protect client sites.

This full-time role offers first, second, and third shift options (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM, 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM) with a requirement to work at least one weekend shift. Key duties include observing and reporting incidents, providing security for property and personnel, and maintaining vigilance across various terrains.

Qualifications

• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Meet all state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at client sites.
• Provide security and safety for client property and personnel.
• Maintain vigilance: Frequent sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and navigating uneven terrain.
• Handle physical demands: Ability to stand, walk for extended periods, and navigate stairs and steps.

Position Details

• Full-time Security Officer/Guard
• Pay starting at $19.00 per hour

Shift Availability

• 1st Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 2nd Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• 3rd Shift: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM (must work at least one weekend shift, Saturday or Sunday)

Preferred Qualities

• Exceptional Customer Service Skills: Friendly face and first point of contact.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication.
• Proficient Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge preferred.
• Flexibility: Must be available for weekend shifts.
