Job summary

Gulf Bay Group of Companies is seeking a gate attendant for the Fiddlers Creek property in Naples, FL. You will manage vehicle ingress, verify credentials, and issue passes for employees, contractors, and vendors.

The role requires a high school diploma and is suitable for candidates with military or law enforcement experience, or criminal justice education. A Class D license and Spanish ability are a plus; PTO scheduling is required for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

• Open gate to allow entrance of employees, contractors, and authorized vendors.
• Check credentials or approved roster before admitting anyone.
• Issue pass at own discretion or on instructions from supervisors or management.
• Direct visitors, vendors, contractors to desired destinations.
• Inspect outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or products.
• Record number of trucks or other carriers entering and leaving.
• Responsible for cleanliness of work area.
• Answer telephone.
• Provide accurate information for inquiries regarding directions, hours of operation, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Community Services.
• Regular attendance is essential; irregular attendance may lead to disciplinary action.
• May require varying schedules to reflect business needs.

Position Responsibilities

• Open gate to allow entrance of employees, contractors, and authorized vendors.

• Regular attendance in conformance with the standards established by the company is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
• Due to the cyclical nature of our industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.
• Upon employment, all associates are required to fully comply with the company’s rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of the facilities. Associates who violate the rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

Education/Experience/Other Requirements

• High school diploma required.

• A proper uniform must be worn while on duty.
