BASIC SUMMARY:

Staff entrance gates of Fiddlers Creek property to control ingress traffic to residential villages and offices.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Open gate to allow entrance of employees, contractors, and authorized vendors.
• Check credentials or approved roster before admitting anyone.
• Issue pass at own discretion or on instructions from supervisors or management.
• Direct visitors, vendors, contractors to desired destinations.
• Inspect outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property or products.
• Record number of trucks or other carriers entering and leaving.
• Responsible for cleanliness of work area.
• Answer telephone.
• Provide accurate information for inquiries regarding directions, hours of operation, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Community Services.
• Regular attendance in conformance with the standards established by the company is essential to the successful performance of this position. Associates with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
• Due to the cyclical nature of our industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the company.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma required.
• Prior Military and Law enforcement a plus.
• Degree in criminal justice a plus.
• Possess or be able to obtain a Class D license.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance (specific standards outlined in employee handbook).
• A proper uniform must be worn while on duty.
• Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
• Full-time associates must schedule PTO during off-season months.
• Thorough knowledge of the property, facilities, and surrounding areas.
• Ability to effectively deal with internal and external residents, guests, and staff, with a high level of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger and collect accurate information.
