Job summary

BTI Security is actively seeking Access Control Officers to support a federal contract in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. The role focuses on controlling access to government facilities and ensuring compliance with federal procedures, with no prior access control experience required as paid training is provided.

Ideal candidates hold an active TS/SCI eligibility, are U.S. citizens, and can pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain SCI access
• Ability to pass all required background and adjudication processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced federal security environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods as required

Responsibilities

• Control access to secured government facilities and restricted areas
• Verify credentials, badges, and authorization for personnel and visitors
• Monitor entry and exit points in accordance with federal security procedures
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and incident documentation
• Respond professionally to security incidents and emergencies
• Follow all site-specific post orders and access control procedures
• Protect sensitive and classified environments through strict adherence to security protocols
• Maintain professionalism and strong communication with government personnel, visitors, and team members
