Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Access Credential Driver in North Chesterfield, VA. The role focuses on controlling access, verifying credentials, and maintaining secure entry points at a chemical/petrochemical site.

The driver must have a valid license, and the position offers full-time hours with a daytime to evening shift schedule. Expect customer service duties and security operations support.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials and issuing passes.
• Respond calmly to alarms, incidents, and security concerns following procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points and the premises to deter unauthorized entry.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations per site reporting procedures.
