Job summary

Chenega Security in Elkridge, MD seeks Access Control personnel to ensure facility safety by screening employees and visitors, inspecting premises, and maintaining security. You will interact professionally with the public and government personnel, escorting and greeting stakeholders while staying calm under pressure.

The role requires training completion and security clearances, with a baseline of a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Prior military, civilian, access control, or security guard experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving, time management, and decision-making skills. Proficient with computers and MS Office applications.
• Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old, possess a valid state driver’s license, and have no history of illegal drug use within the past five years.
• Federal Compliance: Must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Additional Requirements: Complete training and obtain required permits, licenses, certifications, and security clearances.

• Stay Composed: Maintain poise and self-control under stress, and assist emergency personnel as needed.
• Report Writing: Construct clear, concise, and detailed reports in English.
• Additional Duties: As assigned
