Job summary

Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking professional Access Control Officers to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Security and Emergency Management Directorate. You will help protect personnel, facilities, and assets by managing access control, screening visitors, and monitoring security across MDA sites.

Ideal candidates are dependable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with CPR/AED/First Aid and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Must possess CPR, AED, and Red Cross First Aid certifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees, visitors, and government personnel.
• Ability to follow security procedures and operational requirements.

Responsibilities

• Control access to facilities, restricted areas, and equipment per security procedures.
• Verify visitor identities and required documentation before granting access.
• Issue visitor badges and temporary credentials per policies.
• Conduct security screening using magnetometers, x-ray equipment, and other tech.
• Identify and secure prohibited items before entry.
• Perform routine security inspections and access checks as directed.
• Escort authorized personnel to restricted areas when needed.
• Monitor facilities and report violations or security incidents.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies with on-scene assessment for supervisors.
• Coordinate with Security Operations Center during events and operations.
• Provide CPR, AED, and First Aid when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Control access to facilities, property, equipment, and restricted areas in accordance with established security procedures.
• Verify visitor identities and review required documentation prior to granting facility access.
• Issue visitor badges, temporary credentials, and access authorizations in accordance with established policies.
• Conduct security screening activities using magnetometers, x-ray equipment, and other security technologies.
• Ensure prohibited items are identified and properly secured prior to facility entry.
• Conduct routine security inspections, facility access checks, and security measures as directed.
• Escort authorized personnel to restricted areas when required.
• Monitor facilities for security concerns and report violations, suspicious activity, or security incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents and provide on-the-scene assessments to supervisors and security operations personnel.
• Support medical, fire, law enforcement, and emergency responders as directed.
• Coordinate with Security Operations Center personnel during special events and operational activities.
• Perform CPR, AED, and First Aid response duties as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
• Must possess current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and Red Cross First Aid certifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with employees, visitors, customers, and government personnel.
• Ability to follow established security procedures, policies, and operational requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Department of Defense, Missile Defense Agency, or federal government facilities.
• Experience in access control, security operations, visitor management, or physical security programs.
• Experience using badge systems, screening technologies, or access control equipment.
• Experience responding to emergency situations and security incidents.
• Previous military, law enforcement, or security experience.

Estimated Salary/Wage

USD $24.48/Hr. Up to USD $28.05/Hr.
