Job summary

Center for Addiction Treatment is seeking an Access Specialist in Cincinnati to help patients gain access to all CAT treatment programs. Responsibilities include coordinating pre-admission screens, assisting with intake paperwork, and communicating with community partners.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and strong communication and customer service skills, with familiarity with Microsoft Office. This is a full-time, on-site role in Cincinnati, OH.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year direct patient experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong customer service skills with ability to build positive relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate pre-admission phone screening, collect demographics, check funding, and schedule.
• Assist clients with intake paperwork and admissions processes.
• Conduct non-invasive searches during inpatient admissions.
• Liaise with community partners and referral sources.
• Document notes and communicate with staff via email, tasks, and logs.
• Manage personal caseload and assist peers with referrals daily.
• Follow Patient Storage procedures for stored items; HIPAA compliant.
