Job summary

An established industry player is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Full Time Police Officer. This position requires applicants to possess a valid OPOTA Peace Officer Certification and at least 12 months of full-time police experience, with part of that experience within the past year. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or have legal residency status and be at least 21 years old at the time of appointment. Job description

Public notice is hereby given by the Civil Service Commission of Hubbard, Ohio for accepting lateral applications for the position of Full Time Police Officer.

Applications must be made on the regular application form obtainable from the Mayor’s Office at the City of Hubbard Administration Building, 220 West Liberty Street, Hubbard, Ohio 44425 or on The City of Hubbard website at www.cityofhubbard-oh.gov under the Civil Service Commission tab (2025 Lateral Transfer Application).

Applicants shall hold a valid OPOTA Peace Officer Certification and have at least 12 consecutive months experience as a full time police officer with at least part of that experience being served within the past 12 months.

Be a United States Citizen or persons who have legally declared their intentions of becoming US citizens or possess a valid permanent resident ID card. (ORC 124.22 & ORC 124.23).

Applicants must be 21 years of age at the time of appointment.

All degrees, certifications, and credentials must be properly documented and submitted with the applications.
