Job summary

Accenture Construct is seeking an Office Engineer for rail construction projects onsite in California. You will coordinate document control processes, support the Construction Manager, and help prepare project closeout documentation.

This role requires five years of rail experience, three years as an Office Engineer on large projects, a relevant degree, a California driver’s license, and strong MS Office/SharePoint skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience with rail construction projects including swapping out turnouts and automated switches.
• Approximately three (3) years of experience working as Office Engineer on large heavy construction projects or similar complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree or Certificate in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or another related field.
• Valid California Class C driver’s license.
• Competent in using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the approval process for documents and contract changes; manage and maintain the Document Control/Change Control process for all project documents; maintain controlled distribution lists.
• Provide technical support to Construction Manager.
• Receive, record and compile review comments; manage related documentation.
• Coordinate services with outside agencies.
• Assist in preparing project closeout documentation.
• Attend and document project meetings (agendas and minutes) and assist with expediting functions.

THE WORK:

• You'll coordinate the approval process for documents and contract changes; Manage and maintain the Document Control/Change Control process for all project documents; Maintain controlled distribution lists.

• Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships. There will be both day and night shift assignments.

$65 - $85 an hour

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia or Washington as set forth below.
