Job summary

infini-tek is seeking a Software QA Engineer to drive quality across our web and backend systems. You will design and maintain automated tests, focusing on end-to-end workflows and API validation using REST or equivalent.

The role requires 3–5 years in QA, hands-on ACCELQ, Jira, Agile/Scrum, and strong data validation skills with JSON, XML and SQL. You will collaborate with distributed engineering teams and contribute to release validation.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in software quality assurance or test automation.
• Hands-on automated testing with ACCELQ.
• Strong fundamentals: test design, risk-based testing, regression testing.
• Automating web apps and validating end-to-end workflows.
• API testing and integration validation (REST or similar).

Job description

• 3–5 years of experience in software quality assurance, test automation, or automation development.
  
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests using ACCELQ.
  
• Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, including test design, risk-based testing, regression testing, defect lifecycle, and release validation.
  
• Experience automating web applications and validating end-to-end business workflows.
  
• Practical knowledge of API testing and integration validation using REST or equivalent technologies.
  
• Ability to work with test data, JSON, XML, HTTP methods, status codes, headers, and authentication concepts.
  
• Experience with Jira or a similar tool for defect tracking and test execution reporting.
  
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery practices and working within sprint-based teams.
  
• Basic understanding of SQL for data validation and backend verification.
  
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed implementation and engineering teams.
