Job summary

Founders School seeks an Accelerator Program Manager to motivate, challenge, and develop ambitious teenage entrepreneurs as they build functioning companies, harness AI, and pursue ambitions typically reserved for adults.

The role requires on-site work in New York City with relocation support and a strong track record in leadership and workshop design. You will run daily coaching, design workshops, connect students with mentors, and ensure progress using FounderOS for accountability and culture.

We need someone capable of motivating, challenging, and developing ambitious teenage entrepreneurs as they build functioning companies, harness artificial intelligence, and pursue ambitions typically reserved for adults.

What You Will Be Doing

• Propel daily execution and forward momentum across your assigned student portfolio via standups, coaching touchpoints, and accountability frameworks.
• Lead weekly one-on-one coaching conversations and daily check-ins that enable students to clear obstacles and sustain progress.
• Track student performance within FounderOS, spot stagnation early, and arrange support resources as necessary.
• Facilitate connections between students and mentors, founders, operators, and growth opportunities.
• Design and deliver workshops, events, and community-building experiences that reinforce culture and elevate performance expectations.
• Demonstrate practical AI application and guide students in integrating AI into their businesses, operational workflows, and decision-making.
• Accompany students on 3-4 school trips annually.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Delivering in-depth strategic business consulting as students develop their ventures. That responsibility belongs to FounderOS, Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, and visiting mentors.
• Tolerating performance that sits below a student's proven capability.
• Instructing academic subjects. The academic platform and academic team manage that domain.
• Leading workshops beyond your area of competence.
• Offering generic resources or introductions that fail to meet Founders School quality standards.

Accelerator Program Manager Key Responsibilities

Build the culture, accountability structures, and support mechanisms that allow ambitious student founders to execute reliably, apply AI strategically, and produce outcomes that exceed what conventional education permits.

Basic Requirements

• 3+ years in leadership positions or high-impact individual contributor roles at startups, growth-stage companies, or similarly rigorous settings.
• Comfort engaging in entrepreneurial discussions and judgment to elevate to deeper expertise when appropriate.
• A distinct capability beyond coaching: workshop facilitation, event design, content production, community building, relationship cultivation, or another comparably valuable skill.
• The capacity to hold the attention of ambitious teenagers and build an environment they are motivated to join.
• The skill to provide challenging feedback in ways that elevate both motivation and performance.
• Routine use of AI tools with concrete examples demonstrating how AI enhances your output.
• Availability to work on-site in New York City (relocation assistance available).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience founding or co-founding a business.
• Background in coaching, mentoring or leading programs for teenagers or young adults.
• An established network of founders, operators, investors or mentors.
• Early-stage startup experience involving multiple responsibilities and building systems from the ground up.
