Job summary

Vector CSP, LLC is seeking a seasoned GFM Analyst to schedule the AEF for contingency and training events. You will align CAF units to contingencies and aerial exercises, manage the CPS database to meet validated requirements, and coordinate with ACC leadership on scheduling options across multiple MAJCOM programs.

The role requires DoD pilot/navigator/air battle manager training and three years of Wing-level operations plus HQ staff experience, with a Bachelor's degree.

ACC Global Force Management (GFM) Analyst

Full Time Hampton, VA, US

Salary Range: $125,000.00 To $140,000.00 Annually

Clearance Required: Top Secret (SCI Eligible).

Education: Bachelor's Degree

Experience Required:

Job Summary: The Scheduling Team Support position schedules the AEF for various contingency and operational training events, aligns AEF units to most effectively support contingencies, exercises, training events, and other aerial events within the ACC contract portfolio in accordance with ACC direction.

Essential Duties: Conduct studies to support scheduling the AEF for various contingency and operational training events, align AEF units to most effectively support contingencies, exercises, training events, and other aerial events.

  • Maintain appropriate databases and use the Consolidated Planning Schedule (CPS) to schedule units against validated requirements. Using CPS, align forces IAW AFFORGEN to support Combatant Commanders and contingency operations worldwide.
  • Assess combatant command operational plans (OPLANs) and conceptual plans (CONPLANs) for risks and recommend changes and sourcing solutions.
  • Assist with the development of the schedule using the HHQ Scheduling Construct and inter-MAJCOM agreements and coordinate it throughout the CAF Scheduling Integrated Product Team (SIPT) for approval.
  • Assist with the preparation of staff packages defining CAF scheduling issues and provide options as well as proposed courses of action to ACC leadership for their approval.
  • Assist with the preparation of and present briefings pertaining to the CAF exercise schedule, CAF alignment and AFFORGEN schedule.
  • Conduct analysis utilizing internet scheduling tools (e.g. Defense Readiness Reporting System [DRRS], and Joint Capabilities Requirements Manager [JCRM], Logbook) and other software to more efficiently align AF aviation units in support of contingencies, exercises and training events.
  • Advise ACC/A3O on how best to program, manage and schedule CAF forces to include fighter and bomber forces in support of deployment and employment in contingency operations, such as Operation SPARTAN SHIELD, Operation NOBLE EAGLE (ONE), the Global Response Force and the NATO Response Force.
  • Assist with the review, and revision of Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP), Global Force Management Implementation Guidance (GFMIG), Assignment Forces for Tables, Execution Orders (EXORDS), Quarterly Apportionment Tables and Directed Readiness Tables. Using CPS, advise ACC/A3O on how best to plan, schedule, and coordinate CAF aircraft for short-notice contingency events, command level training events and Joint/MAJCOM level exercises.
  • Assist with the coordination of operational issues with the Joint Staff, Air Staff, United States Air Forces Europe (USAFE), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC), Air Reserve Component (ARC) and Air National Guard (ANG) staffs.
  • Advise ACC/A3O on the management of the entire AEF scheduling process, integrating ACC and other CAF units with Combatant Command requirements, and obtain concurrence of all involved organizations for each new AEF schedule.
  • Review annual CAF Force Offering and determine ARC Man-Days required for execution.

The projected salary range for this position is $125,000-$140,000 and is based on experience and contractual requirements. However, this is not a guarantee of salary.
