Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Analyst, Plan Testing to support Commercial plan testing by interpreting client intent behind medical benefit designs and validating that intent through claims-based testing in ACAS. This role requires collaboration and strong communication to ensure new and revised plans are tested accurately before claim release.

The position involves reviewing benefit intent, designing testing strategies and guiding testers, with opportunities to improve automation and testing

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with the ACAS platform and knowledge of medical plans and claims adjudication
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet timelines
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Interpret client benefit intent and translate it into testing guidance for plan testers.
• Design test strategies, plans, and scenarios to validate plan behavior.
• Provide instructions to testers on how to execute plan testing and confirm expected claims outcomes.
• Research testing issues when results diverge and determine next steps.
• Log defects and coordinate with contacts to resolve issues.
• Address questions from plan testers throughout testing.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Analyze defect trends and adjust test strategies or scenarios as needed.
