A strategic consulting company is seeking a fully remote Mainframe ACAPS Software Engineer. Responsibilities include designing new features, providing technical leadership, and collaborating with engineers. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience with ACAPS and COBOL. This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical and 401(k) match.
ACAPS/Mainframe Software Engineer – Anywhere (Remote, Contract). Fully remote and must be able to work East Coast operating hours.
We are looking for a Mainframe ACAPS application engineer who is skilled with ACAPS, COBOL, JPL and Mainframe platform engineering.
Rate: 55-65 USD per hour on a W2 basis.
This role is remote. Applicants must be willing to work on a W2 basis with a benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
W2 employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.
