Job summary

Lipscomb Academy in Nashville seeks a passionate Head Wrestling Coach to launch and lead our high school program. You will establish team culture, design practice plans, recruit diligence, and build a competitive program in alignment with the school’s mission.

You will organize workouts, manage rosters and schedules, ensure safety and compliance with state rules, and communicate with parents and administrators.

Responsibilities

• Launch and build Lipscomb Academy's wrestling program, including equipment and facility setup
• Plan and conduct daily practices focused on technique, conditioning, and safety
• Develop athletes of all experience levels, with an emphasis on fundamentals
• Manage team logistics including rosters, schedules, and state association requirements
• Supervise athletes at practices, home meets, and away tournaments
• Communicate regularly with parents, the Athletic Director, and school administration
• Ensure compliance with all state athletic association rules and safety guidelines
• Model Christ-like behavior and encourage student wrestlers to demonstrate integrity, respect, humility, service, and sportsmanship in alignment with Lipscomb Academy’s mission.
