Job summary

Lipscomb Academy seeks an Assistant Wrestling Coach to support its high school wrestling program and contribute to character-building alongside athletic development.

You will work with the Head Coach to plan practices, develop athletes of all levels, supervise events, ensure safety compliance, and model Christ-centered values while guiding students in discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship at Lipscomb Academy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting daily practices
• Help develop student-athletes of all experience levels with an emphasis on technique and conditioning
• Supervise athletes at practices, home meets, and away tournaments
• Support team logistics including rosters, schedules, and state association requirements
• Reinforce Lipscomb Academy's values of discipline, integrity, and sportsmanship
• Ensure compliance with all athletic association rules and safety guidelines
• Model Christ-like behavior and encourage student wrestlers to demonstrate integrity, respect, humility, service, and sportsmanship in alignment with Lipscomb Academy’s mission.
