Job summary

FC Cincinnati is seeking an Academy Equipment Associate to support the Sr. Coordinator of Academy Equipment. The role, based at the Mercy Health Training Center in Milford, OH, is hourly and part-time (about 20 hours weekly) starting January 2027.

It runs during the 2027 MLS Sprint Season (Feb–Apr) with potential extension based on needs and performance. You’ll assist with daily operations, training setup, laundry, home-match setups, and game-day logistics, attending weekly operations meetings

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program, preferably in Business or Sport Management.
• 1+ years’ experience in professional sports environment, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sr. Coordinator of Academy Equipment in day-to-day responsibilities.
• Assist academy coaches with set up and preparation of daily training sessions.
• Manage the daily academy team’s laundry operation.
• Assist in set up for home matches.
• Attend weekly Soccer Operations meetings.
• Support in the logistics of game day preparation and execution.
• Complete special projects as needed and other duties assigned.

Reports to: Sr. Coordinator of Academy Equipment

Position Summary:

The Academy Equipment Associate will work alongside our Sr. Coordinator of Academy Equipment assisting with the equipment needs of our Academy teams at FC Cincinnati. This position will be based out of the Mercy Health Training Center in Milford, Ohio and will report directly to the Sr. Coordinator of Academy Equipment. This is an hourly paid position working an average of 20 hours per week starting in January 2027.

Please note this position is allotted for the 2027 MLS Sprint Season, which runs from February through April. However, there may be an opportunity for continued employment during the 2027–2028 season based on organizational needs and individual performance.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Sr. Coordinator of Academy Equipment in day-to-day responsibilities
• Assist academy coaches with set up and preparation of daily training sessions
• Manage the daily academy team’s laundry operation
• Assist in set up for home matches
• Attend weekly Soccer Operations meetings

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
