Job summary

Kryptsec Inc. is seeking experienced Curriculum Developers to help build Kryptsec Academy, our structured training product for AI security. You will shape program outlines, author modules, specify hands-on labs, and ensure content stays current with AI research and practice.

This independent contractor role is fully remote, project-based, with compensation commensurate with experience. Ideal candidates have hands-on AI security research or red-teaming experience and strong technical writing.

Qualifications

• Hands-on AI security research or red-teaming experience.
• Clear technical writing ability for educational content.
• Ability to scope a program from a brief to a defensible outline.
• Experience teaching courses, workshops, or conference training.

Responsibilities

• Develop program outlines covering learning outcomes, module sequence, and lab mapping.
• Author technical modules to Kryptsec's content standard.
• Specify hands-on labs for Lab Architects to build, or build them directly where qualified.
• Incorporate editorial review and learner feedback into revisions.
• Keep content current with developments in AI security research and practice.

Job description

Kryptsec is an AI security research and education company. We study how AI agents attack, defend, and break systems, and we ship that research as curriculum, challenges, and open-source tools. Our focus is the AI era of cyber security: learning to wield AI as a tool for security work, and understanding how LLMs and agents work under the hood so you can attack and defend the tooling itself.

Kryptsec is engaging contract Curriculum Developers to help build Kryptsec Academy, our structured training product for AI security. You will work with our team to shape program outlines, author modules, and specify the hands-on labs that accompany them. We are looking for practitioners who have done the work and can teach it.

What We're Looking For

We would like to hear from you if you have hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

• AI security research: identifying and documenting how LLM and agent systems fail.
• AI red teaming: prompt injection, jailbreak methodology, tool and MCP abuse, agent exploitation.
• Detection and response for AI-driven systems, including analysis of agent traces and incident handling.
• Securing AI in production: guardrails, evaluation, model and data supply chain.
• Applying AI as a tool in offensive, defensive, or analytical security work.

In addition:

• Prior teaching or technical instruction experience: courses, workshops, conference training, or published educational content.
• Clear technical writing.
• Ability to scope a program from a short brief and deliver a defensible outline.
