Job summary

Banner Health's Banner University Medical Group in Tucson, AZ, seeks BC/BE General Urologists to join a growing, academically oriented team with new outpatient space and a 649-bed hospital. Qualified candidates will hold a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona commensurate with experience and have opportunities for clinical and basic science research.

The role includes education of medical students and residents, a call schedule of 1:6 with resident coverage, and access to DaVinci Xi

Qualifications

• Academic Urology position providing education and training of medical students and residents in both clinic and OR settings.
• Join group of 5 established physicians and 8 mid-level providers
• New operating rooms with dedicated cystoscopy rooms
• DaVinci Xi and SP robots available
• Call schedule 1:6 with resident coverage
• Average Clinical Patient Load: 20-30/day - with MA support
• Valid AZ MD Medical License (or eligible to receive)
• Desire to join the leading team providing Urologic care in the Southwest
• Experienced candidates preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Educate medical students and residents in clinic and OR settings.
• Provide general urology care as part of a collaborative team.
• Engage in opportunities for clinical and basic science research.
