Job summary

University Medical Group in Tucson, AZ seeks a Urologic Oncologist to join a nine-urologist team within a patient-focused program emphasizing high-volume, minimally invasive surgery. The new faculty member will hold an academic appointment and participate in clinical and basic science research based on interest.

The position offers mentorship, opportunities to teach residents, modern robotic equipment, and a generous benefits package including relocation and sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• MD/DO in Urology.
• Board certification in Urology is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Clinical care of patients with complex kidney stones.
• Cases include percutaneous nephrolithotomy, ureteroscopy, and treatment of BPH.
• Manage a high-volume practice with 20-22 patients per day.
• Participate in call schedule (7 days per month) with resident coverage.
• Mentorship from experienced Urologic Oncologist subspecialist and opportunities to teach residents.
• Research is available, but not required.
